NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The Niagara volleyball team and head coach Susan Clements have announced the addition of two student-athletes for the 2009 campaign. Kari Honomichl (Petersburg, Mich.) and Amanda Wilken (Cincinnati, Ohio) have each signed national letters of intent to wear the Purple & White.

James set the Niagara single-season assist record with 1,149 assists in her first season on Monteagle Ridge.

The outside hitter had a career-day on Saturday as the Purple Eagles won their first conference match of the season.
Rush Captures Purple Pride Performer of the Week Honors NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Senior outside hitter Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y.) earned the Purple Pride Performer of the Week award on Monday after recording a match-high 22 kills in the Purple Eagles victory over conference rival Saint Peters on Sunday.

Following brunch alumni will join head coach Susan Clements as she gives the current team their pre-game talk. The Niagara Volleyball team will then host Iona at 2 p.m. in GallagherCenter.
