NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Niagara senior soccer standout Brittany Bisnott (Brampton, Ont.) has been nominated for the 2008 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Bisnott, who ranks third on Niagara's all-time charts with 60 goals and 136 points, will graduate in May with a degree in criminology & criminal justice.

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Senior soccer standout Brittany Bisnott was named to the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Women’s Soccer First Team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), becoming the first Purple Eagle soccer player to earn that honor.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Niagara’s great season came to an end on Friday night, when they lost a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to Marist in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) semifinals. A late goal in the 81st minute by Marist proved to be the game-winner, as Niagara ends their season with a mark of 10-7-2.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its postseason awards Thursday evening, honoring 11 Purple Eagle women’s soccer players. Senior forward Brittany Bisnott (Brampton, Ont.) was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned All-MAAC First Team accolades, while eight players earned MAAC All-Academic honors.
