FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. - The Niagara women's tennis team will advance to the semifinals of the 2008 MAAC Tournament after defeating Manhattan College (2-13, 1-6) 6-1 in the first round. No. 2 Niagara is set to match up against No. 3 Fairfield at 11:30 am.

EDISON, N.J. - The Niagara men's and women's tennis teams placed seven student-athletes on the MAAC All-Acadmeic Team, as announced by the conference office on Friday. The men's team had two members on the list, while the women's team was represented by five student-athletes.
