NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Niagara women’s basketball head coach Kendra Faustin announced the signing of six players to her first recruiting class on Thursday. The class consists of three guards, two forwards and a center who hail from Michigan, New York, Ohio, Ontario and West Virginia.

ALBANY, N.Y. – Eight members of the Niagara University women’s basketball team were named to the 2007-08 MAAC All-Academic team. The Purple Eagles led the way with eight honorees, just ahead of Siena, with seven.

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Niagara University Purple Eagle women’s basketball team was not able to keep up with cross town rival Canisius, as they fell in the first round of the MAAC Tournament 63-51 on Thursday afternoon. The Purple Eagles finish the season at 8-22.
