PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Men's basketball's Charron Fisher (Pennsauken, N.J.) has been selected to participate in the 56th annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament that is taking place April 9-12 in Portsmouth, Va. The P.I.T. is the nation's oldest amateur basketball tournament. It is recognized by NBA and European scouts as the premier showcase for future professional players.

Lewis Lands Purple Pride Performer of the Week NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Men's basketball sophomore Tyrone Lewis (Levittown, Pa.) was named Purple Pride Performer of the Week for his efforts in Niagara's 79-73, season-opening victory over Central Michigan last Friday.
