NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Niagara University's head soccer coach Dermot McGrane will take his men's soccer team 'across the pond' to his native land for a 13-day tour of England that begins on Thursday. The Purple Eagles will include matches against club teams, a special training session with the Manchester United coaching staff and tickets to one of the hottest athletic events in the world, a Premier League showdown between Manchester United and Liverpool.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its postseason awards Friday evening, honoring six Purple Eagle men’s soccer players. Junior Billy Gustafson (Rochester, N.Y.) was named to the All-MAAC Second Team, Levi Tesch (Wolcott, N.Y.) was named to the All-Rookie Team while five players earned spots on the MAAC All-Academic Team.
