The Niagara University Danceline is the official dance team at Niagara University. The team performs at all men's basketball home games and select women’s basketball home games.
The team also performs at the MAAC Basketball Championships, in addition to participating in at least two competitions per year. The team appears at various university-wide events, making the danceline ambassadors of Niagara University.
Practices are held two to three times per week and that time is used to learn and perfect routines for both games and competitions.
Danceline members must be in good academic standing each semester at Niagara University in order to remain a member of the team. This means that each member must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. In addition, each member must participate in community service activities each semester, along with fundraising initiatives.

Gameday Pictures
During basketball games, the danceline cheers on the team from the sidelines of the court and also performs routines during media timeouts and halftime.

Community Service
Members of the danceline participate in community service activities each semester. This is a wonderful time for members to bond with one another as they support the community.
Past examples of community service include the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, the Special Olympics and Relay for Life.

Dance Clinic
Each year, danceline holds a dance clinic for young girls ages five to thirteen. These girls spend the entire day with the danceline members and learn a routine that they will all perform together at halftime of one of the men's basketball home games. These girls become a part of the Niagara University Junior Danceline and receive a participation certificate and a custom t-shirt.
