Why Niagara?: "I was looking for a small school with the option to have more personal experiences in the class room. The opportunities I have had here are once in a lifetime and I would never want to miss out on them."
On the Field: Earned MAAC All-Academic honors in 2009...Started 13 of the 14 games she played during the 2009 season...Tied for fourth on the team in goals (13)...Had five assists and a total of 18 points in the 2009 season...Started in all 13 games as a freshman...Scored in first collegiate game against Howard...Recorded a point in three straight games (Howard, St. Francis, Gannon) as a freshman.
Personal: Born in Syracuse, N.Y....Daughter of Joseph and Patricia Farrugia...Her older sister Brittany played lacrosse at Canisius College...Also has a younger sister, Carrie-Jo...Majoring in communications.
