Host Courtney Corbetta previews the 2016-17 season for the Purple Eagles men's and women's swimming and diving teams in this week's edition of Purple Eagles Insider.

Senior Shawn Warner, who holds six individual records and three relay records in the pool at Niagara, looks to cap a stellar career in his final season on Monteagle Ridge. Junior Julia Casolo enters this season after a MAAC Championship win in the women's 100 butterfly last season, and she also swam on relay teams that set school records in the 400 medley relay and 400 free relay a year ago. The men's and women's teams kick off the 2016-17 campaign on October 7 with a 5 p.m. meet at Fredonia.
