Previous Student-Athlete of the Week Winners

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Graduate student Emily Hughes was named Niagara's Student-Athlete of the Week after her impressive performances on the board this past weekend for the Purple Eagles.

On Saturday against Siena, Hughes bested her own meet record in both diving events, totaling 226.06 points on the one-meter board and 220.57 on the three-meter board. 

The following day Hughes placed first in the three-meter board in a meet vs. Colgate.  She posted a score of 193.35 from the high plank before nabbing a second-place finish in the one-meter board (183.82).

Niagara gets two weeks off to prepare for the Zippy Invitational that will take place at Akron, Ohio from Dec. 6-9.
