HAVERHILL, Mass. – Junior Ryan Rashid was tabbed as Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week after helping the nationally-ranked Purple Eagles to three key points in the league standings over the weekend. 

Rashid secured a four-point weekend in a pair of contests versus RIT Tigers, scoring three goals and adding a helper. 

The 6-foot-2 forward pocketed two goals in the 3-3 draw against the Tigers on Friday evening, tying his single game career-high.  The following day, Rashid found the back of the net once, and added an assist as the 17^th-ranked Purple Eagles defeated RIT, 6-4. 

The Farmington Hills, Mich. native wrapped up the weekend a plus-two, with seven looks on net. 

Niagara hosts Bentley in a weekend series that starts on Friday, Feb. 1 and wraps up the following day.  Game time is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. for both nights.
