NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Sophomore April Nimjareansuk of the women’s golf team was named Student-Athlete of the Week after setting a program record for lowest-individual score during the opening round of the Youngstown State Invitational on Monday. 

The Alexandria, Va. native broke the record for lowest individual single-round score with a 76 (+4).  The record was last set the previous season by teammate Brittany Siechen, by a stroke. 

Nimjareansuk and the Purple Eagles wrap up play at the Invitational today.
