Past Student-Athlete of the Week Winners

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Freshman Lorenz Schwojer was named Student-Athlete of the Week after earning his seventh straight victory at the 2012 MAAC Tournament to wrap up the season. 

The Purple Eagles were trailing Fairfield 3-0 in the semifinals before the MAAC All-Second team honoree earned Niagara’s first point with a straight win, 6-4, 6-3, over Erik Kremheller. 

The German native finished the spring season with an overall 11-6 record.
