Past Niagara Student-Athlete Winners

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Niagara junior first baseman Sarah Anthon was named Student-Athlete of the Week after pushing the Purple Eagles to a 3-2 record this past weekend.
 
Anthon finished the week with a .500 batting average, going 7-for-14 from the plate, with five doubles and an RBI.  The Lancaster, N.Y. native finished the week with a .857 slugging percentage, while tying Niagara’s single-game doubles list with three against Cleveland State. 
 
The Purple Eagles are back in action on Saturday, April 14th, when they open Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play against Iona at Niagara Field.
