Past Student-Athlete of the Week Winners
	 
	NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Sophomore 
Juan'ya Green filled up the box score in a pair of contests last week for the Niagara men’s basketball team to score Student-Athlete of the Week honors. 
	 
	In two games, the guard averaged 21 points per game, 4.5 assists per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 steals per game, 1.0 blocks per game while average 38 minutes per contest. 
	 
	Green led the Purps in scoring and assists in games at Loyola and Buffalo.  He provided the game-winner in the 62-61 victory over the Greyhounds on Wednesday.  He netted four straight points to break the 58-58 tie, which included a layup in the paint with 56 seconds left to solifidy the win for NU.  The Philadelphia native also led all scorers with 19 points and had a game-high five assists.
	 
	In the rivalry matchup at UB on Saturday, Green led Niagara with 19 points and with four assists to record at least four assists in eight of the nine games this season.
	
	Green shot 51.9 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from the 3-point line and 81.8 percent at the charity stripe in the week.
	 
	Green and the Purple Eagles take to the court against the Hartford Red Hawks on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the ‘Taps’ Gallagher Center.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
