NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Niagara volleyball head coach Dottie Porch has resigned due to personal reasons.

"We would like to thank Dottie for her dedication and commitment to Niagara University and the Purple Eagles," said Niagara University Director of Athletics Tom Crowley. 

Porch guided Niagara to a 15-14 overall record in her first season as head coach. The Purple Eagles went 12-6 in conference play and earned the fourth seed in the 2012 MAAC Tournament where they fell to eventual champion Fairfield in the semifinals.

A national search for a head coach will begin immediately.
