Three Men’s Soccer Players Ranked On Topdrawersoccer.com


Men’s Freshmen Top 100
             Men’s Conference Top 20

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Three Purple Eagles from the Niagara men’s soccer team have been included in TopDrawerSoccer mid-season individual ranking polls.  Julian Ekeze earned a spot on the midseason top-100 freshmen list, while senior Bryan Da Cruz and sophomore Callum Willmott appeared on the Top 20 MAAC Conference poll. 

Ekeze was ranked 98th on the National Top 100 freshmen list.   He has seen action in all 11 games during the 2012 campaign, scoring one goal in seven looks on net, for two points. 

Da Cruz and Willmott were ranked fourth and sixth, respectively, on the midseason men’s conference top 20 poll.  

Willmott currently tops on the team in points (11) and goals (5), while accumulating 17 shots on the goal.  The sophomore has scored one game-winner while adding a helper for the season.  Da Cruz is not far behind his teammate with 10 points in 11 games.  The forward has three scores thus far, two of which are game-winners, and contributed four assists.

The Purple Eagles take their 11-game unbeaten streak crosstown to battle the Canisius Golden Griffins on Saturday, Oct. 13.  Kickoff is schedule for 7 p.m.
