Past Niagara Student-Athlete of the Week Award Winner

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Senior diver Ashley Jones has earned Niagara Student-Athlete of the Week honors after a solid showing on the board this past weekend against cross-town rival Canisius. 
 
The Lockport, N.Y. native took home victories in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events for the second straight meet.  She grabbed a victory in the one-meter event with a final score of 243.21 and earned a score of 232.65 in the three-meter event for a first-place finish. 
 
Jones and the Purple Eagles wrap up their regular season this Saturday, Jan. 28 when they host St. Bonaventure on Senior Day!  The meet is scheduled to begin at 12:45 p.m. at the Oxy Aquatic Center.
