NIAGARA UNI., N.Y. – Niagara men’s swimmer Corban Bothell has earned Niagara Student-Athlete of the Week honors after contributing to the men's first win of the 2011-12 campaign against Fredonia this past Friday with a final score of 126-115.  

The freshman earned top honors in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:15.52.  The Centerville, UT native also nabbed a win in the 500-yard freestyle (5:04.00).  He was the anchor of the winning 200-yard medley relay, clocking in at 1:39.33.    

The men are off until Nov. 12 when they travel to Lodonville, N.Y. in a dual meet against Siena and Bryant.  The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
