He is the primary contact for men's hockey, women's soccer, cross country, swimming & diving and women's lacrosse. Smith also served as the Assistant Commissioner for Public Relations with the College Hockey America men's conference during the 2009-10 season. Smith is a 2007 graduate of Niagara University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with his bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. A four-year cross country runner while at Niagara, Smith interned with the Buffalo Sabres and the NU Athletic Communications Department during his tenure. Smith is an active member in CoSIDA, as a member of the Scholarship committee. Smith resides in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
