NIAGARA UN., N.Y. -- Sophomore Julie Dickhans (Sewickley, Pa.) won her third consecutive Little Three title Saturday and helped the Purple Eagles to their third-straight Little Three title.
Dickhans won the event in 19:11, posting her third sub-20 minute time. Senior Tatyana Sapaleva (New Hartford, Conn.) was second (20:12) and sophomore Patricia Rich (Orchard Park, N.Y.) third (20:32).
Freshman Chelsea Usack (Horseheads, N.Y.) was fifth (20:45), rookie Jill Snopkowski (Torrington, Conn.) 13th (22:29) and Katie Tees (Clay, N.Y.) was 15th (22:37).
Niagara returns to action Oct. 27 when it runs in the MAAC Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
