BOSTON, MASS- The Niagara men's and women's cross country programs concluded the 2009 campaign at the 2009 NCAA Northeast Regionals at Franklin Park on Saturday afternoon, with the men's team finishing in 33rd place out of 36 teams, while the women's team finished in 33rd place out of 35 teams.

Sapaleva Selected as Niagara Athlete of the Week NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – After helping guide the Niagara University women’s cross country team to first place at the Le Moyne Invitational Oct. 1, junior Tatyana Sapaleva (New Hartford, N.Y.) was named the Niagara Athlete of the Week. Sapaleva led the way for Niagara with a second-place performance in the 5K event in Syracuse, N.Y., posting a time of 20:14. |
