BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior Pat Garvey (Pine Bush, N.Y.) became a two-time MAAC Champion on Saturday night, winning the 100-yard freestyle event with another Niagara school record. BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior Pat Garvey (Pine Bush, N.Y.) continued his dominant performance at his final MAAC Championships, earning his third-straight top seed in Saturday night's championship finals. Garvey broke his fourth record of the weekend after touching the wall at 45.43 in the men's 100-yard freestyle preliminary heat.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Niagara swimmers Pat Garvey (Pine Bush, N.Y.) and Dana Vernal (Milford, Conn.) continued their assault on the school's record books at Day Two of the MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Garvey broke his own 200-yard freestyle record in Friday's preliminary round, while Vernal sbapped a 15-year-old mark in the 400 Individual Medley.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Niagara senior swimmer Pat Garvey (Pine Bush, N.Y.) earned a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, rewriting a record he rewrote earlier in the day. The senior finished the championship heat in 20.87, three one-hundredths of a second better than his prelim time, which is a Niagara school record.
