ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Niagara volleyball team’s historic season came to an end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Niagara fell to the No. 13 seed Michigan Wolverines, 25-4, 25-12, 25-15, on Friday night at the Keen Arena on the campus of the University of Michigan.

Volleyball's Hedrick Nabs Purple Pride Award NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Volleyball freshman Hannah Hedrick (Cincinnati, Ohio) was named Purple Pride Performer of the Week on Monday, after helping Niagara to a 2-1 record. The outside hitter had a career-day on Saturday as the Purple Eagles won their first conference match of the season.
Rush Captures Purple Pride Performer of the Week Honors NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - Senior outside hitter Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y.) earned the Purple Pride Performer of the Week award on Monday after recording a match-high 22 kills in the Purple Eagles victory over conference rival Saint Peters on Sunday.

Following brunch alumni will join head coach Susan Clements as she gives the current team their pre-game talk. The Niagara Volleyball team will then host Iona at 2 p.m. in GallagherCenter.
