FLUSHING, N.Y. - The No. 5 seed Niagara women's tennis team topped the No. 4 seed Siena Saints, 4-3, in the 2010 MAAC Tennis Tournament First Round on Friday afternoon at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Niagara will play No. 1 seed Fairfield in the semifinals on Saturday in a rematch of last season's final.

The Niagara men’s and women’s tennis teams start their title run for the 2010 MAAC Championship on Friday, April 23 from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. The men’s team is the fifth-seed and will play against the No. 4 seed Loyola Greyhounds at 9 a.m. The fifth-seeded women’s team will face fourth-seeded Siena at 1:30 p.m.
