North Tonawanda, N.Y.- The Niagara women's tennis team was shut out saturday afternoon by the score of 7-0. Raquel Solis and Brittney Walters put in a strong effort in the second doubles pairing but were defeated by Samantha Inacker and Stephanie Bender of Colgate by the score of 8-7. Walters also played strong in her singles match but she was downed by Jackie Stimmel, 6-3, 2-6 (11-9).

The top doubles pairing of Hilary Hansen (Charlottetown, P.E.I.) and Alyssa Lucas (Clarkston, Mich.) were defeated by Lauren Bates and Jillian Santos of Binghamton in a close match, 8-3.
