Riggs Named Niagara Athlete of the Week NIAGARA UN., N.Y. – Women’s hockey sophomore Ashley Riggs (Pickering, Ont.) was named Niagara University Athlete of the Week for her efforts in the 2007 European Air Canada Cup. The sophomore forward was named Player of the Game in the Gold Medal Game and landed a spot on the All-Star Team, finishing the tournament with four goals and three assists. |
