Men’s Basketball

The 2007-08 season marks the first year you can hear every Niagara University men’s basketball game live on The River (105.1-FM). Todd Callen begins his second year as the play-by-play voice of the defending MAAC men’s basketball champions, while former Purple Eagle Sean Schiano will provide color commentary. 

Niagara is the first Buffalo-area University and the only MAAC School to have its men’s basketball games broadcast on a commercial FM signal. All men’s basketball games can also be heard on-line at PurpleEagles.com and Yahoo Sports.

 

Men’s Hockey

For the first time in school history, every Niagara University 2007-08 men’s hockey game will be broadcast live on commercial radio. Beginning 15 minutes prior to face-off, WJJL (1440-AM) will carry all of the action for the defending CHA regular-season champion Purple Eagles

Well-known Buffalo sports radio personality Paul Hamilton and veteran Purple Eagle broadcaster Warren Kozireski will call all of the action throughout the season. All men’s hockey games can also be heard on-line at PurpleEagles.com and Yahoo Sports.

 

Women’s Basketball and Women’s Hockey

For the second consecutive season, all 2007-08 Niagara University home women’s basketball and women’s hockey games can be heard live on-line at PurpleEagles.com and Yahoo Sports.

In addition, the women’s basketball MAAC Tournament and the women’s hockey CHA Tournament games can all be heard on WJJL (1440-AM).
