Peter Sinagra
Major Gifts Officer for Athletics

Peter Sinagra is in his third year as Major Gifts Officer for Athletics, where he directs the University's efforts to strengthen annual giving to athletics through the Purple and White Club.

Sinagra came to Niagara from the Buffalo Destroyers of the Arena Football League where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing. He directed sales and marketing, and coordinated sponsorship sales, numerous fundraising campaigns, group sales, and season ticket sales. Sinagra increased sales revenue over 60 percent for the Destroyers by diversifying sales efforts.

Prior to his work with the Destroyers, Sinagra spent two years as a corporate sales executive with the New England Patriots. He supported the sales and marketing phase of the closing of Foxboro Stadium and the opening of the then-new $350 million facility, Gillette Stadium.

From 1998 to 2000, Sinagra was a marketing executive with the Destroyers and generated $ 1,500.000 in sponsorship revenue.

Sinagra has also worked in various capacities with Custom Sports Promotions (1993-98), Buffalo Bison Baseball, Inc. (1991-93), SportsChannel New York (1990-91), the New York Mets Baseball Club (1984-90), Phoenix Firebirds Baseball Club (1987-88), the Vermont Reds Baseball Club (1983-85), the Pawtucket Red Sox Baseball Club (1982-83) and the Salt Lake Gulls Baseball Club (1982).
