Overview

Niagara University’s student enrollment is approximately 3,800, 307 of which are student-athletes. Niagara competes in 18 Division I NCAA sports, 16 of which are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The men’s hockey team participates in the Atlantic Hockey Association and women’s hockey team plays in the College Hockey America Conference. The Purple Eagles have qualified for an NCAA Tournament in each of the last six years, and eight of Niagara’s all-time NCAA bids have come in the last nine seasons.
