Is my donation to Niagara Athletics tax deductible?
- Yes, Current federal income tax laws allow a charitable donation of 80% of a contribution to an educational institution. Please consult your tax advisor for additional information.
- Additionally, it is the responsibility of each donor to report to the IRS the cost of any additional benefits that are received as a part of his or her membership level.
Who is my gift payable to?
- All gifts and donations are made payable to Niagara University Athletics.
What are the different payment options?
· Cash, check, or credit card.
· An appreciated stock or security
· Gifts in kind - such as providing goods and services in lieu of cash.
· Planned giving - Niagara Athletics can be named a beneficiary in the form of trusts, wills, bequests and insurance policies.
How do I make a donation?
- You can contact anyone of our athletic development staff
- You can donate online
- You can fill out and mail in our printable online donor form
Will my company or business match my gift?
- Yes, companies will often match the charitable contributions of its employees. Check with your Human Resource Office to see if your gift can be matched with company funds.
Can I make a donation to a team of my choice?
- Yes you can! Your donation can directly benefit any one of our 17 varsity athletic teams.
· Men's: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Hockey, Soccer, Swimming/Diving, Tennis
· Women's: Basketball, Cross Country, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming/Diving, Tennis, Volleyball.
· Coed: Cheer Squad
How am I made aware of my benefits?
- You can see your membership benefits under the “Benefits” tab at the Purple & White Club website. The stars denote the achieved benefits based on your membership level. The more money you give the more benefits are made available to you!
Will I be contacted about Purple & White Club events?
- Yes we will email you in advance for our events. Additionally, feel free to check out the website for information on events as well!
Is my gift a one time donation?
- It can be, however we encourage an annual donation.
When must Niagara Athletics receive my gift by?
- All donations must be postmarked by May 31st of each year.
I would like my gift to be anonymous, is that possible?
- Yes, if you would like your gift to remain anonymous in respect to public recognition, arrangements can be made to do so. However your information will remain on file for our record keeping.
Are payment plans available?
- Yes the Purple & White Club offer a variety of payment plans. However all gifts must be paid in full by May 31st.
